NMT ladies fundraising trip with Sjoa Rafting august 2018

9 ocean/flat-water Kayak padlers from Asker Kayak group /women, signed up for a week-end filled with fun activities in Sjoa. The national ladies team arranged this event together with Sjoa Rafting were part of the income goes to sponsor the team to the world championship in Argentina this fall.

On saturday 4 of the woman took an introcourse in whitewater kayaking at Sjoa Kajakksenter and 5 went on a picturesque hike with new fallen snow on the peaks. This while the team put in a few training sessions on the river. We all had a great dinner at Sjoa Rafting followed up with some riverside hot tub time and dips in the cold river.

On sunday after a nice breakfast all the women got on the river with the NMT ladies guiding the rafts down, twice :-) We all had such a great time, in rain and sunshine, good stories, friendship and tons of laughter.

Thanx ladies, lets grow the trip for next year and bring even more happy faces to the river!
