Downriver race & overall ranking

Today was the hard and brutal downriver race, the dicipline that gives the most points overall.

Because of our ranking from the slalom we where in the first heat batteling the start with the best 6 teams.

We got cought in the middle of an endless feeling of a head to head, crash bang down the flat towards the first rapid.

we didnt get out as quick as we wanted and ended up with the USA in front of us and the Netherlands behind.

This is the placing that stayed the whole way through to the end. The second heat caught up on time and we ended up on a dissapointing 10 th place in DR and that put us on 8th overall.

Now we will go to the closing ceremonies and blog a little more tomorrow, sharing pictures and thoughts for the next events coming:-)
